Splash Lane Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 7, 2026

Splash Lane ("the game") is made by Launch Box LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the game uses and why. You can open it at any time from Settings in the game.

Information stored on your device

The game keeps your best score, your chosen diver name, your settings (sound and vibration) and a record of your recent games on your own device. This is used to run the game, for example to show your best score and to adjust which sea creatures appear. Deleting the game deletes it.

Advertising

The game is free and supported by ads provided by Google AdMob. To show ads, measure how they perform and prevent fraud, Google may collect information from your device, including your device's advertising identifier (only if you allow tracking when the game asks), your IP address and approximate location, the device type and operating system, and how you interact with ads.

On iPhone, the game asks your permission before allowing tracking across apps. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track", you will still see ads, but they will not be personalised using your advertising identifier. You can change this at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the game asks for your consent before personalised ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time in the game's Settings > Privacy choices.

Google's use of this information is described in Google's Privacy Policy and at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Online leaderboard and game statistics

Your diver name is made from words chosen from fixed lists inside the game, not typed by you, so it never contains personal information.

When you finish a game, the game sends us:

If you change your diver name, the new name is sent too. If you play without an internet connection, finished games wait on your device and are sent later.

What other players see

On the leaderboards: your diver name, your best score and its date, your biggest splash and what made it, and your place on the weekly boards (with the weekly treasure you earn). Players who tested the game before launch may also be listed, by diver name and best score, on its Special thanks page.

Everything else (your moves, play time and progress) is never shown to other players. We use it to check that scores are real (by replaying the moves), to understand how the game is played and to balance its difficulty.

Sharing and ratings

After a new best score or a new biggest splash, you can share a picture of it. Sharing uses your device's own share menu: you choose the app and what to post, and nothing is sent to us. The picture shows your score and your in-game name only.

Sometimes, after a new best score, the game asks the App Store or Google Play to show their rating box. Whether to rate is up to you, and your rating goes to the store, not to us.

Where it is kept, and removing it

This information is stored on Cloudflare's servers for as long as the leaderboard runs. If you would like the scores and games sent from your copy of the game removed, email us at the address below with the diver name you used.

Children

The game is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new "Last updated" date.

Terms of service

Playing the game is also covered by our Terms of Service.
